After a long period of time, promoter amadou is returning back to the reggae turntables. This time with a very powerful team
Why behind the reggae turntables?
Some of them say, amadou is a promoter of dancehall events, he only organise and never you see him stand behind the turntables.
Others say no, I know amadou, he´s a Soul/Funk DJ and he never play reggae when he is behind the turntables.
And there are others who simply say I saw amadou doing some kind of thing with the music.
So what did amadou say? Give thanks to the Mercyful Lord of the Universe, he is nothing you can think or immergine, he is a Pure and Holly Spirit. I will allways thank him for what he has giving to me in knowledge. I´ll thank him without thinking of any image in my mind.
I man believe that the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE gave every man or woman in this planet a kind of talent. When ever you develop what the Creator gave you, he´s allways ready to give you more, and when ever you saw interest to search for something, he´ll help you open your eyes to see. Old preacher men in Africa used to preach that The Creator gave us many ways to search his Universe, so let us search the entire Universe for knowledge.
Everything started when I was a teenage in 1986, playing from small locations to small locations in Hamburg. Then with the help of friends, amadou decide to open a reagge club in the heart of Hamburg, INNA ROOTS CLUB 1991 to 93. Due to the polical and brainwashing system at that time, we were forced not only to close our club, but also to give up many reggae events I was deaming to do. The political system even force us to pay money in court for very stupid things simply because they don´t like reggae music and it´s fans. It´s an absolut sham to the  P.system. That was the time when amadou quit the reggae turntables and albums, concentrating himself  with 70´s grooves/funk and soul, playing in small and even bigger locations like former Off Line, 90° in Berlin, and then Soulful Kitchen, Prinzenbar, then since 2 years Molotow/Meaniebar.
Amadou simply realised that the secret of learning is to search, therefor those who really know amadou, they´ll never wander to see him hehind the reggae turntables. With Admiral Ali from the Lions Band and Selekter Heavy Lion with amadou at the other side, here comes the Burning Spliff Soundsystem.
Now a days Hamburg and his dear Political.System has changed a bit, they reallised that the reggae dancehall movement in Hamburg is allways growing and maybe they´ll one day change the hearts of people with there message. Seaching music is something very normal to amadou; that´s the reason why he never remain in one place but searching and sarching....
Burning Spliff Soundsystem will surelly contribute a lot to push forward the dancehall reggae movement in Hamburg. Our sound will be specialized mostly in Ragga-Dancehall. When ever we touch the roots reggae music side, fans will reallise that must of our roots tunes will be Ganja tunes and such kind of selektion will surelly march the Burning Spliff Soundsystem.
